It's so much easier to lay patio paving using the Elvins Lightweight Paving Slabs. Elvins Lightweight Paving Slabs has chamfered edges therefore no need for pointing and grouting.
No concrete mix.
No need for gaps.
No setting time.
Dig your paving area 100mm deep. Fill it with 60mm hardcore base and level using Spirit Level. Hardcore may not be necessary depending on ground. If the ground is soft use concrete mix as hardcore. Cover the hardcore with 45mm sharp sand and level. Then lay the Lightweight Paving Slabs closely without spacing and leave them using Rubber Mallet as you progress. The slabs will anchor into the sand.
Lightweight Paving Slabs are not cheap but cheaper than paying contractors to lay the Heavyweight Slabs.
